Painting With my Father, Summer 2024

As I embark on the exciting event of starting my new Website, I reminisce my journey from the beginning of the year creating art. What better way to start my Blog Page than to include this special picture of me painting with my father this Summer. As I visited my parents in the home of my youth, it was an extra special time as I organised to create a painting with my dear father during the Summer of 2024. From a young age my dad would always encourage me to paint, and I remember the times we would paint together with oils. I also remember my dear paternal Grandmother was an avid painter too, and we loved to see her paintings as we visited her as children.

This picture holds special meaning to me as it has been over 35+ years since we last painted together. The experience was so beautiful and nostalgic and brought me full circle as I now embark on this new, long awaited, stage in my life.

I am so thankful and will forever treasure this memory in my heart, and await the next time we paint together again!
