HAPPY & BLESSED 2025!

Hi Friends!

I hope you are all keeping well and warm during this exceptionally frosty weather we have been having!  I’ve certainly been getting good use of my snuggly hoody - perfect for those times when I’m at home relaxing, and just want to be cosy and snuggle up with a hot chocolate!

As I was deciding on my next blog post, I thought I would firstly use this opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!  I’m believing for health, prosperity and all the very best for my friends and family, and pray this will be a very special year for us all as we pursue our dreams, aspirations and creative processes.

I thought I’d also share a little of my own art goals for 2025 now that I’ve got back to a bit of a routine since finishing my website, and tackling the newly learned SEO improvements before Christmas. Thankfully, with all the celebrations now out of the way, I’ve had a head start on all my chores to make room for more creativity.  I am hoping to focus a bit more on portraits this year as I have missed figurative art, and I have just finished working on a very special piece recently.  I’m also very excited as I will be planning on revisiting my love of weaving with newspaper quills and incorporating a new category on my website for Handwoven Baskets and Bags.  I’m looking forward to picking up where I left off when I had my House of Morgan business (please check out photos on my House of Morgan Facebook page – although the business has closed, you can still view my posts).  Incorporating my eco-friendly, unique, handcrafted woven creations will also bring a sustainable touch to my website.

I also have a couple of other ideas in the pipeline for this year which is very exciting, but for now, I want to be as focused as possible and make the best use of my free time in between the busyness of family life and juggling each day!

As always, I’m so thankful to have this space to share with you.  Please feel free to reach out and message me if you have any questions, ideas or comments, as I’d love to hear from you all too!

With love and every blessing for 2025!
